Kenji by Cala Riley is book 7 in The Syndicates Series.  This is the story of Miya and Kenji. I have read the previous books and loved them. So this was a must read. Miya at the age of 17 was so desperate from her past abusive life that she came to the Currency casino looking for a job. This is were she meets Kenji who happened to be the person she came too. From the start Kenji felt a connection to her but of course she was to young and he had the instant protection attitude towards her. So he started her washing bathrooms and stuff like that until she got older and he had her running the part of the casino dealing with the woman an the bar. But he never allowed her to do anything else. But this book opens them up to finding their way to each other.  Loved it!  I can't wait to read more from this author!~
