Surrendered Innocence by Measha Stone is book 4 in the Innocent Brides Series. This is the story of Maxim and Mandy.  This series is a interconnecting one so it does help to have read the previous books I think.  But, the second book Ruined Innocence was Arman and Anya story.  Anya is Mandy's best friend and so we meet Mandy in that book along with Maxim.  Mandy is used to doing things on her own and has been looking for her brother.  This has taken her into dangerous areas and situations.
Maxim is a Russian enforcer who has been assigned to keep an eye on Mandy due to the danger that she comes into a lot.  This was a exciting read for me...just like the other books.  I do recommend Ms. Stone's writing.
