The Rook by Nana Malone is book Three in the Gentlemen Rogues Series.  This is the story of Westin St. James and Nissa Montgomery. I have read the previous books which did add to my enjoyment of this one. Westin meets Nissa when he is sent to stay with Julian Montgomery.  Nissa is Julian's illegitimate daughter but Westin and her become best friends then more.  But, Westin up and left when he learned the danger that was going on and feared for Nissa.  Now in their present day, Nissa is a college student who is very independent. Westin is a IT specialist for a Black Ops group known as The Rogues and has been asked to return back to look into Julian along with protecting Nissa.  But, Nissa isn't having his reentry into her life again.  Enjoyed!
