Meet Elizabeth

Elizabeth O'Roark spent many years as a medical writer before publishing her first novel in 2013. She holds bachelor’s degrees in journalism and arts from the University of Texas, and a master’s degree in counseling psychology from the University of Notre Dame. She is the recipient of the 2017 IBPA gold medal for romance. She lives in Washington DC with her three children.

The Summer We Fell by Elizabeth O'Roark is the story of Juliet Cantrell and Luke Taylor.
Juliet had something awful happen that lead her to live with her then boyfriend Danny and his parents. I felt they quilted her into doing all the work around the house. While living with them she meets Luke who is Danny's best friend. Luke and Juliet don't hit it off and live to through barbs at each other. This book does spanned over several years which leads to Juliet changing through the years and finding her self along with giving Luke and her a second chance. Enjoyed this book.
