Illicit King by Maggie Cole is the First book in the Mafia Wars Ireland Series. This is the story of Brody O'Connor and Alaina O'Leary. Brody is set to take over for his father but he along with his siblings wants to make a name for themselves. Which leads them to get do some revenge on their enemies the O'Leary. Brody is given a picture of Alaina who will be his focus for this revenge but he didn't count on feelings she is bring out. Alaina is also working to prove herself to her father that she should be the one taking over for him. So, she is always working towards that goal but then she meets Brody who she takes some downtime for unknown to her who he really is. Enjoyed this start to a great series to come.
