Vipers Are Forbidden by Alta Hensley is book Three in the Gods Among Men Series. This is is the story of Athena Godwin. This is a interconnecting series. So it does add to the enjoyment of this one if you have read the previous books. In the last book Phoenix had found out that Gloria may not have died. Gloria is Athena mother who she thought had killed herself. When she goes to the house her mother had lived in up until about a month ago she finds Perseus. Perseus is one of her mother's adopted sons. Perseus doesn't believe her as he didn't know of his mother having a former child. Athena learns that her mother is dead now. When summoned to return to the house to hear the Will she meets the other adopted sons Eros, Heph and Pairs. Then she finds that she will get her mother's house and the sons will get their mother's money. But to meet the will's requirements they all have to live in the house for a period of time. I have been enjoying this series. I can't wait to read more from this author.
