This is a interconnecting series so it does add to your enjoyment if you have read the previous book. But, with that said I did think it could be a standalone book.  This is the story of Cass and Alex. Cass was attending a wedding where she ends up having to deal with her ex.  This leads her to let him think that she is in a relationship with Alex Stone who is very well off man.  But in actually fact she is just going to be a live in nanny to his daughter Penelope.  Enjoyed this book.
