Live, Love, Spy by Lexi Blake is book two in the Masters and Mercenaries: New Recruits Series. This is the story of Lou and TJ. TJ and Lou have been friends since their younger years both feeling more than friendship though. Lou thinks that Tj doesn't want her in a deeper way but TJ feels he isn't good enough for Lou. Lou is a genius and TJ thinks he would just hold her back so he would rather be friends with Lou than loose her altogether. But then TJ gets kidnapped and Lou gets a lead to find him. This was an exciting friends to lover romance.
