This is a interconnecting series so it does add to your enjoyment if you have read the other book. Marksen DuBois was once best friends with Lucian Manwarring (whose story was in the first book with Amelia Astrid). But then they became enemies and more hurt came between them. At Amelia and Lucian's wedding Marksen decided to seek his revenge by taking Olivia who is Lucian's sister. Olivia at one time had a crush on Marksen but that has changed...or has it. Enjoyed this dark romance.
