THE WHAT IF GUY by Lauren Blakely is book Two in The Guys Who Got Away Series. This is the story of Logan Clarke and Bryn Hawthorn.  I haven't read the previous book yet, so for me this was a standalone book. Both Bryn and Logan are single but haven't had good past relationships.  But when they accidentally meet they feel a spark there.  But they do end up getting a second chance meeting that lets them start to work through what they are feeling.  Logan is also a single dad so that added to the story.  This book has some funny scene and this author kept me engaged in the book until the very end.  Enjoyed and hope to read more from her in the future.

He looks impressed. “You officially have the best reason for being on drink detail.”
I preen, enjoying his praise. “Why, thank you. I was hoping to win that contest.”
“What was the snort-inducing remark, may I ask?”
Flashing back, I recall the culprit—my “you need V-time” comment to Peyton—but that’s too personal to share. I give him another one. “I referred to her ex-fiancé by his proper name.”
Clark Kent gives me a curious look. “Is his proper name amusing?”
“Of course. It’s Richard Cranium,” I say, and I wait. Will he pass the test?

ASKING FOR A FRIEND by Lauren Blakely is the First book in the Boyfriend Material Series.  This is the story of Amy Summers and Linc Silvers. 
Linc has moved into town and taken the Senior Editor Job where Amy works as the Junior Editor.  Linc is working to start fresh in a new town and job so he has no plans to get involved with a co-worker.  With that mind set is starting to leave him once he spots Amy.  Amy is nerdy so this editorial job is up her alley and she wants a promotion that may come her way.  So Amy isn't going to ruin any chances she has by getting involved with a co-worker but then the new guy walks in, Linc.  Working to stay strong she goes forward to look into helping her friend Peyton with finding someone.  This leads her to online where she gets a hit by someone who seems perfect...for her.  Linc working to resit the Amy pull has him going online.
This was a fun hot read.  Looking forward to more books in the series.

INSTANT GRATIFICATION by Lauren Blakely is book Two in the Always Satisfied Series.  This is the story of Truly and Jason. I have read the previous book which was the story of Truly's brother Malone so we have seen these two characters in the previous book, but I did feel you could make this a standalone book if you wish to do so.  Jason is best friends with Truly's brother Malone, but he also has her as a friend.  They both help each other out with their business adventures.  Although sparks fly between the two they have kept things as friends until one day they weaken an given in to the taste of temptation but they try to go back to the friend zone but with each day it gets harder for them to do.
I enjoyed their story and this author was so great to put an Epilogue at the end.  I know you shouldn't rate a book on if it has a Epilogue or not but for me that gives my rating a boost up everything time...love them.

SATISFACTION GUARANTEED by Lauren Blakely is the story of Malone and Sloane.
Malone and Sloane met about 7 years ago when she was 22 and he had just graduated from Veterinary School. They have a hot and passionate few days until Malone learns who Sloane's father is...his new boss. Now in there present day they are brought back together where they find there is still a big spark between them.
This was a great second chance at love book.
