Unlikely Event by L.J. Shen is the story of Aurora 'Rory' and Malachy 'Mal'.
Wow...what a different romance story line for me.  Aurora and Malachy meet in a meet when they are young and in a total different country where they have a hot encounter.  They write down on a napkin if they every meet again they would drop everything to be with each other.  They both were a different points in their lives besides being young.  So what happens years later when they actually do meet up again.  Yes they are still at different points in their lives but this time that napkin just might seal their fate. 
I am such a fan of Ms. Shen's writing that this was a must read for me! Loved it!

When someone hits me with a stick, I run over them with a tank. I’m so mean to him I want to throw up. I hate this part of being me. The striking harder at all costs part.

THE KISS THIEF by LJ Shen is the story of Francesca Rossi.  OMG where do you even being with this book....I Loved it for one.  It kept you on your toes with the story line. Francesca is a mob princess and as such you know that you are taking care of but life isn't always easy.  Francesca marriage was to be arranged to Angelo Bandini but things in the mob life don't go as planned.  Senator Wolfe Keaton a hard man determine to get the revenge he so greatly wants.  Forcing a marriage between him and Francesca is just a step in the direction he needs to go to get the revenge ball rolling.  But he doesn't count on his feelings starting to take a turn toward her. 
This book was a page turner for me...to hard to put down.  Will be looking for more books by this author for sure!!!
