Force of Nature by S.L. Scott

FORCE OF NATURE IS LIVE!

READ FOR FREE ON KINDLE UNLIMITED

"This book is for true lovers of romance! A unique, strong, feisty heroine. And the hero! Gah! He's an alpha hero that you will fall head-over-heels for.”
~Adriana Locke, USA Today and Washington Post
Synopsis

Winter Nobleman is complicated. To say the least.

It was supposed to be simple. Go to Paris, find a client’s daughter, and close a multi-million-dollar deal. Easy. Then I meet her. Stormy blue eyes, quick wit, and the secrets she keeps on the tip of her tongue make me forget my mission for a moment, or six, and why I’m in Paris in the first place—to bring her home.

Distracted by her beauty, I fail to notice the others lurking with missions of their own.

Bennett Everest is the twist I never saw coming. Talk about perfect timing.

He steals my breath the first time I see him and breathes hope back into my heart. He’s a giant in my eyes, a king among men with patience and love to share in spades. Six foot three. Whiskey-colored eyes. Solid gold on the inside.

Despite the dirty deeds of my past, he sees the person I am meant to be and not the person I have become.

If the lies don’t kill us, will the truth set us free?

“Absolutely Best Romantic Suspense of 2019!” - Lulu, FB/GR
“Bennett is so so sexy and romantic. He’s THE best book boyfriend.” -Barbara, Goodreads
“With stellar writing and the kind of plot that you instantly connect with, Force of Nature was everything I love in a story and more.” -LitlJen, Goodreads

My Review
5 Stars
Force of Nature by S.L. Scott is the story of Bennett Everest and Winter Nobleman.
If you follow Ms. Scott's book then you know of the Everest brothers and we are getting Bennett's story in this book.  You don't have to have read any previous books to read this one but just making note if you like to read books in a order.  We have Everest and Bad Reputation books that cover the other brothers.  Bennett is going forward to keep an eye on Winter thinking that this will be a easy job.  But once he meets her and the more he learns...its not so easy.  One thing is his feelings are getting engaged and another is the danger.  Winter is a strong women and a fun heroine..I like her with Bennett giving him a run for his money.
It was a must read book for me.

EXCERPT

The pale color of the lace highlights a sheen as if the sun kissed her skin, and I can’t stop myself. “Fuck, you’re beautiful.” The smile I receive in return is magnificent. Her surprise at my compliment shocks me, though.
A whispered, “You’re so hot,” leaves her lips. Her hands on my sides urge me back on top, so I move, kissing her again and appreciating the taste of her mouth, her skin, and the way she moves under me. Her body begs for more, and I start to memorize what makes her moan.
A kiss to the lips.
The spot behind her ear.
My hands on her waist.
Fingertips dipping under the lace and teasing.
Her breasts are firm and a good handful. I’d venture to guess a cup size, but it doesn’t matter.
It.
Doesn’t.
Matter.

The thought races through my veins, and I start to digest it. The size of a woman’s tits has always been something I catalogued for entertainment, out of curiosity, and to engage my brain and not just my body. It’s the same as every woman staring below the abs I work so hard to maintain to check out what the good Lord gave me.
But with Winter, it’s different.
Like our time together, this just feels good. She feels good. With her, it’s not a race to the finish. She’s savoring my kisses to her neck and taking the time to kiss mine. She doesn’t want a quick fuck before she ducks to catch a cab home. No, this is different.
New.
Better.

I don’t want this feeling to end although I don’t think I can wait much longer before I explode. I ache to be inside her, so I whisper against the round of her breasts, “Do you want to—”
“Yes. God, yes. Please.”
Lifting my head up to see her face, I smile. “I like you begging for me.”
“I’d like you between my legs.”
“I thought that’s what we were talking about?”
“Your mouth first.”
“First, huh?” She drives me fucking wild. As if I couldn’t get harder, she opens that sexy mouth of hers and makes a request. Confidence is a turn-on. “I can arrange that.” I slip under the covers and tug her legs until she’s flat on her back.
Through laughter, she says, “You’re so bad, Bennett.”
“But I’ll make you feel so good.”

Excerpt

I sit outside on a bench, looking at the scuffs on the tips of my black leather shoes. The bottoms are worn from wearing them while riding my bike. It was the only sign that set me apart from the other rich kids where I grew up. Other than Cruise, no one rode motorcycles or had dealt with anything worse than getting a warning after getting busted for smoking, skipping school, sneaking out, smoking weed, getting drunk, or driving over the speed limit. The list could go on.
I have a car. I just don’t drive it much, preferring the freedom I feel on my bike. It wasn’t just my clothes or the bike that set me a part. None of them had lived, breathed, existed simply because their soul mate did. Not even now.
From the moment I saw her, I knew Sara Jane was it for me, an angel in a Catholic school uniform, eating a candy bar. She couldn’t have been more innocent. Except she was. The girl had barely been kissed. It’s like she had been waiting to meet me, as if she had saved herself for me. How a girl who looked that good and smelled even sweeter remained untouched for so long was beyond me.
I would have loved her no matter what. She could have been a prostitute, and I would have only seen her halo. I was a ship navigating a stormy sea, but she called me to her lighthouse, a beacon shining in the dark. It was never about her innocence, or the sins I had inherited. The day I met Sara Jane was about two lives that weren’t meant for only one lifetime, but destined to be together forever.
Maybe that’s what had given me the confidence to break away from the kids I grew up with. I knew I was meant for something bigger than a life of partying and getting high socially.
I was meant for Sara Jane, and she for me.

Book Review For: Savior by S.L. Scott

Savior (The Kingwood Duet, #2)Savior by S.L. Scott
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

'Savior' by S.L. Scott is Book Two in "The Kingwood Duet". This continues the story of Alexander and Sara Jane. Since this is a continuing story I do feel you need to read the previous book first.
This book picks up where 'Savage' Book 1 left off. Alexander is dealing with what has happened to Sara Jane know that he would not be able to go on with his life if he doesn't have her.
Sara Jane is dealing with physical issue and all the emotional turmoil that has been left . Sara Jane for a little while holds harsh feelings but these two are soul mates that can't be separated.
I must say that I have truly enjoyed their story and Ms. Scott's writing.
"My honest review is for a special copy I voluntarily read."
