'Angel in Scarlet' by Lavinia Kent is book four in the "Bound and Determined" series. This is the story of Angela Ripon and Matthew Harkness, Earl of Colton. I have been jumping in and out of this series so I did feel it was a standalone book. This by far has been the best book I thought of the books I have read. Yes it is a old tale of a women scored and wanting the man to want her back and then she dumps him but this had some added things to this story. It was a hot, exciting read that hooded you in.
Matthew was courting Angela but he found her to be somewhat sweet, innocent kind of simple. Matthew taste in sex runs pretty hot and not the normal type of sex...so he thinks too that she won't be able to meet or go along with his needs.
Angela is now after vengeance to hurt him as much as he hurt her when he choose to end their relationship. So to have success with her vengeance, Angela seeks Madame Rouge help. Angela friend Bliss had lead her to Madame Rouge since Angela knew that Madame Rouge had helped Bliss with her relationship.
Will revenge be best served cold? Or will it stay as hot as they are now for each other?
