Review: Desperate Match

Desperate Match Desperate Match by Lynne Silver
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I received an eARC, from NetGalley and the publisher, in exchange for an honest review.
'Desperate Match' by Lynne Silver is book five in the "Coded for Love Book " series. This is the story of Jill Thompson and Rowan Blacker. This is a standalone book but it does reference some of the other books.
Jill has been married to her abusive husband for about six years. Jill starts to work out a plan to get away from him by joining 'The Program' of elite soldiers who were built generically to be strong soldiers. If Jill DNA match with one of the soldiers she would be his mate.
Rowan has been with the program for about a year. Rowan has never really felt like he was a part of the team / nor fit in with the team. So decided to join the group of men looking for the DNA / life mate partner. Rowan does have an issue with his arm being missing and when he first meets Jill he thinks she was taken back by it. This had a really emotional story of abusiveness, disability overcoming and just falling in love. Great Story.
