Alexei by Eva Winners is book 4 in the Belles & Mobsters Series. This is the story of Alexei Nikolaev and Aurora Ashford. This has been a great series so just for that I would say read the previous book but you can make it a standalone book if you want too.  Aurora is a young FBI agent working in human trafficking.  This is hitting home for her because she was almost taken but her brother wasn't so lucky.  So now she works to bring down the people that are doing this.  Alexei is a dangerous man who is a gun for hire but this issue is close to him too.  Because he was giving into such men when he was just a small child and had to fight or be killed.  Now they are sort of working together to track the danger down.  Both feel a connection but with Alexei he is obsessed with Aurora but his secrets may stop everything.  Loved this book and this series!
