Review: Desire Rising

'Desire rising' by Elizabeth Shore is the story of Lucy Kirkby/Catherine Sheffield and Lord Miles Hawkins. This book is about 132 pages long. Lucy was married to a very abusive husband who abused her and at the end was trying to have her sleep with a man he lost to at a card game. Lucy ended up defending herself that night a ran away to start a new life as Catherine. While living that life she met Miles who quickly became more than a friend. This was a very hot dramatic romance that kept you in the story. I will say I didn't get attached to the characters as I usually do but overall I liked this book.
