'To Kiss a Thief' by Susanna Craig is book one in the "Runaway Desires" series. This is the story of Sarah Sutliffe and St. John, Viscount Fairfax. This book does have some ups and downs for me. I did wish that St. John would have been quicker to be on his wife's side and stay there.
Sarah and St. John were married. Sarah was a young wife that happens to overhear her husband say that he won't love her..which breaks her heart. When a necklace goes missing they seem to think she is the thief and Sarah does nothing to in her defense other than to leave with scandal. Now it seems things haven't really changed after he meets up with her again. Can this time make them both see that they have to standby one another and love each other?
