Review: Bedeviled

Bedeviled Bedeviled by Kate Pearce
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

"Bedeviled" The Haunting of Castle Keyvnor Book 2. This is a series of short stories that total to about 240 pages. It covers a few couples and how they were brought together in the Haunting of Castle Keyvnor.
1. Michelle Willingham's A Dance With the Devil: Jane Hawkins and Devon Lancaster find themselves attracted to each other...but can they be together? Jane is attending a gathering with her friend when her shawl is blown away to land at Devon's feet. Later another mishap happens where they are thrown together again. Jane doesn't think she can find a good title matched because she is not a titled lady. So she knows that nothing can really lead to anything with Devon. Devon is the fourth son of a Viscount and is there along with his friends. But Devon wants to feel something for his future wife but money is also something he was looking for.
2. Deb Marlowe's Lady Tamsyn and the Pixie's Curse: Gryff and Lady Tamsyn met first when they were young and liked each other back then. But a misunderstand caused by a Pixie set them apart. Now they are meeting up again... will things be different this time.
3. Kate Pearce’s A Ghost of a Chance: Violet and Edwin are thrown together when they to join the others at the castle. Violet thinks she is in love with Charlie who is Edwin's brother. Edwin is in love with Violet and had hoped her feelings had changed but it doesn't appear that has happened. Who will Violet pick?
This is a nice collection of stories that are great for this time of year for Halloween!
