'Devil's Cove' by R. C. Mathews is book one in the "Tortured Souls" series. This is the story of Grace and Devlin Limmerick. This is a paranormal type romance too.
Grace lost her eye sight when she was about 7 years old. In addition her mother was taken from her when the town labeled her mother as crazy. Once Grace lost her site she ended up with the 'site' of seeing and talking to people that have past.
Devlin has taken over a house that years ago a great many people were killed in. Devlin thinks like the town that this house is holds the person to 'hell's gate'. Devlin wants to use Grace's service to fulfill a goal he has set in a revenge plot. But they are hiding things from each other. Can these two over comes each other and the past to be together?
This was a interesting read and overall I did like it but did mark it for 3.5.
