'Lord Valorous' by Wendy Vella is book Three in the "Lords Of Night Street" series. This is the story of Jacob, the Viscount Hatherton and Poppy. I have not yet read the other books so for me this was a standalone book.
Poppy is desperate to get help for her employer who Poppy is a companion too. Poppy employer has lost her husband and has inherited the money but another person has inherited the title. Now the new Lord is out to kill her and possibly Poppy. Poppy ask for help from the 'Lords of Night Street' which is a group out to help those that are in need of help. Jacob is the person that shows up to meet Poppy to see what she needs help with.
This was a easy enjoyable read! Another great story by Ms. Vella! "My honest review is for a special copy I voluntarily read."
