'Drakon's Plunder' by N.J. Walters is book Three in the "Blood of the Drakon" series. This is the story of Sam Bellamy (who is a women) and Ezra Easton (who is a dragon shiftier). I have not yet read the other books, so for me this was a standalone book. Sam is trying to find information on the man/group that killed her mentor. In doing that she had to go undercover to try to get information. Doing so has placed her on a ship that now she is having to escape from. When she in rescued by Ezra who find her unconscious. Ezra is after the same people Sam is but at first he not sure if she is with the people that he and his fellow brothers are looking for. But Ezra does know that he is attracted to her and 'his dragon' is not wanting him to hurt her. Sam too is unsure at first if Ezra is a friend or foe. But the soon learn what the other is about and Ezra trust her enough to let her into his secret of his dragon.
I so enjoyed this book that I want to go back and find the other!
