THE DESIRES OF A DUKE is a box set with 8 different stories and authors. I truly love box sets because it gives me the chance to read other authors that I might not have read before. But with this box set it all the top authors that are my go to authors. In additional to all of that most of these are full lenght stories making the page total around 1516.
This is a must have for Historical readers!

THE FORBIDDEN DUKE by Darcy Burke
This is Book One in the "The Untouchables" Series.
Eleanor Lockhart had a encounter with a Rouge about 10 years ago where they were caught kissing. Nora had to leave town but now in the present day she finds that her father has lost all the money and she is pretty much homeless. Nora goes forth to find a job as a companion. Lady Satterfield hires Nora to be her companion but later Lady Satterfield likes her so much she wants to give her a "Season". Nora finds that Titus St. John, fifth Duke of Kendal, the man that she kissed all those years ago is Lady Satterfield step-son, who she has helped raise from an early age. Titus is now trying to live to all things proper and to try to be better than the Rouge he was in his young days. Titus is hardly seen out much to any social functions and has the nickname ' The Forbidden Duke'. But Titus finds himself drawn to Nora and starts to attend the balls and social functions that she goes too.

Vivienne is his brother governess and he starts to suspect there is more to her than what she is showing. James is in need of a wife and starts to think of Vivienne as a possible wife. James has to solve the mystery/murder that Vivienne is involved in before they can have their happy ending. This starts their story and how they were there for each other

This is book Two in 'The Undaunted Debutantes' Series.
This is the story of Lucianna Constantine and Roderick Crofton, the Duke of Montrose. Lucianna is out to prove who killed her friend and will do anything to do so. Roderick has lost everything due to his father trusting the wrong person and after a scandalous article towards his family. Looking to find the writer and another heiress for marriage leads him to Lucianna. I really loved seeing their story!

THE DUKE’S ACCIDENTAL WIFE by Erica Ridley
This is book seven in the "The Dukes of War" series.
Miss Katherine Ross has lost most of her family but a aunt who is fighting dementia. But Katherine doesn't want to believe it. Katherine does not want to risk getting married and having kids because of her being scared to loose that family too. But she is caught in a compromising position with Lawrence, The Duke of Ravenwood. So they must marry. Lawrence is a 'proper' acting Duke. Lawrence is kind of lonely and would like to have a family not just to carry on his title I think. So it is a surprise that Katherine is wanting not to have kids and he is wanting to have kids. So they are at a kid of standstill to see if they should more forward with their marriage or look into an annulment. This starts their love story and how they had to come to turns with their feeling to move forward.
