Review: How to Marry a Duke Without Really Trying

How to Marry a Duke Without Really Trying How to Marry a Duke Without Really Trying by Eva Devon
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

How to Marry a Duke Without Really Trying by Eva Devon is the Second book in The Duke's Secret series. This is the story of George Cornwall, Duke of Harley and Lady Eglantine Trewstowe. I have read the previous book, but feel this book can be a standalone...if you choose to do that.
George's father has died and now he is the new Duke but before his father died a promise was given that he plans to fulfill. Eglantine would be the perfect wife and he goes forward to make her see that but Eglantine has plans of her own. Eglantine has known George for awhile but when he goes forward to inform her that they would make a good couple she declines his offer of marriage. Eglantine is somewhat of a bluestocking with a plan to only marry for love. With money not being a issue for her she can hold out for that. Now George has his work cut out for him to get what he wants most...but its starting to look like her goals are now his.
Loved reading their story.
