Born in Denmark, Sophie has spent her youth traveling with her parents to wonderful places all around the world.

 When Love Leads To Scandal by Sophie Barnes is the First book in The Townsbridges Series. This is the story of Lady Bethany Andrews and Charles Townsbridge. Bethany quickly became in engaged and was proud to make such a good match. But then she happens to meet Charles and he sparks something deep inside her. Charles never one for love at first site is taken back by how quickly his feelings for Bethany came to be...but she engaged to one of his best friends. This was a quick romantic story that I truly enjoyed...can't wait for more stories from this author and series!
