Best Man by Lila Monroe is book 6 in the Billionaire Bachelors Series. This is the story of Rebecca 'Becca' Delaney and Arthur 'Fitz' Fitzwilliam. I haven't yet read the previous books, so for me this was a standalone book.
Becca needs to be married and convince her money hungry cousins that she in a real marriage to keep them from taking her inheritance. The inheritance that she is worried about is a apartment building where some have lived there for around 20 years, and she doesn't want to see them without their home. So, she lined up a fake fiancé, but at the last minute he ran off. Becca feeling her last chance went with him goes to lick her wounds. Becca ends up meeting Fitz who after talking agrees to be the fill in groom to help with her scheme. But have they both bitten more than they can chew? Feelings start to take off between the two.
Really enjoyed their story and hope to read the previous books along with other ones from this author.
