Say No to the Duke by Eloisa James is book Four in The Wildes of Lindow Castle Series. This is the story of Lord Jeremy Roden and Boadicea 'Betsy' Wilde. I have read (and Loved!!) the previous books, but feel you could make this a standalone book if you wish to do so.
Jeremy has been away fighting in America which of course has left him a changed man no longer the man of ease but of seriousness. Staying at the Castle Wilde has brought him to watch the men of the town make fools over Betsy and he teases her about line of men. But then a Duke makes a offer which turns things from amusing to serious for Jeremy. Betsy has doubts about her future due to her mother running off an leaving her family has touche her more than she cares to admit. When Jeremy and Betsy end up alone in the Billiard room a wager is made over a billiards game that she will spend the night with Jeremy if he wins and if she wins, he gives her a night of adventure along with some men's clothes.
