My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The Earl Takes a Fancy by Lorraine Heath is book 5 in the A Sins for All Seasons series. This is the story of Matthew Sommersby, Earl of Rosemont and Fancy Trewlove. I have read the previous books, but I do fill you can make this a standalone book if you wish to do so. Fancy although her birth isn't what society approves of, her mother has had big dreams for her. Fancy has been raised and taught just like any women of society to be a lady and to find a titled husband. Matthew is done with all the women in his life using him for his title. Review: Hunting for a Highlander by Lynsay Sands

Hunting for a Highlander Hunting for a Highlander by Lynsay Sands
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Hunting for a Highlander by Lynsay Sands is book 8 in the Highland Brides Series. This is the story of Dwyn Innes and Geordie Buchanan. I have read (and Loved!!) the other books in this series which of course added to my enjoyment of this one. But I did feel you could make this a standalone book if you wish to do so. Dwyn, her sisters and some other ladies have been invited to the Buchanan house to try to win other the remaining Buchanan family members that are single. Dwyn doesn't feel that she has what is needed to catch a husband nor does she want to put on the attitude that the other ladies are doing to catch husbands. So, she has settled into the mind set that she will be a spinster. Dwyn ends up climbing up a tree at one time to escape from everything. This is where Geordie happens upon her when he is returning home and thinks she needs his help. Of course words and kissing might have been exchanged between them. Now feelings are engaged but danger is lurking near by... This was a must read for me because I am a big fan of this author's writing.

Review: Heiress Gone Wild

Heiress Gone Wild Heiress Gone Wild by Laura Lee Guhrke
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Heiress Gone Wild: Dear Lady Truelove by Laura Lee Guhrke is book 4 in the Dear Lady Truelove Series. This is the story of Jonathan Deverill and Marjorie McGann. I have read the previous books but feel you could make this a standalone book if you wish to do so.
Jonathan was promised by his grandfather the family business but his grandfather didn't do the will before he died and his father received it and when Jonathan tried to help him it didn't go well at all...he was kicked out of the house and disowned. This lead him to leave for America where he ended up meeting Billy McGann besides becoming friends they ended up having the biggest silver strike in Idaho which made them very rich. But then Billy died but before doing so he asked Jonathan to take over guardianship for his little girl. Of course Jonathan couldn't refuse. Besides how much trouble can a little girl would be when at a boarding school for girls...well a lot when they are grown and that little girl wants a London Season with a Titled husband. Marjorie was left at a boarding school for young ladies in White Plains, New York after her mother died and her dad left her there with the promise to return. Sadly he never did and now she just wants to leave the school and start her life with a husband that is more secure than her flighty father. The attraction between the two are to much for either to ignore which of course causes issue for them both.
Enjoyed their story.

Review: Say No to the Duke

Say No to the Duke Say No to the Duke by Eloisa James
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Say No to the Duke by Eloisa James is book Four in The Wildes of Lindow Castle Series. This is the story of Lord Jeremy Roden and Boadicea 'Betsy' Wilde. I have read (and Loved!!) the previous books, but feel you could make this a standalone book if you wish to do so.
Jeremy has been away fighting in America which of course has left him a changed man no longer the man of ease but of seriousness. Staying at the Castle Wilde has brought him to watch the men of the town make fools over Betsy and he teases her about line of men. But then a Duke makes a offer which turns things from amusing to serious for Jeremy. Betsy has doubts about her future due to her mother running off an leaving her family has touche her more than she cares to admit. When Jeremy and Betsy end up alone in the Billiard room a wager is made over a billiards game that she will spend the night with Jeremy if he wins and if she wins, he gives her a night of adventure along with some men's clothes.
Loved their story!
