The Best Friend Bargain by Crystal Kaswell is the story of Skye Kim and Forest Ballard. Forest and Skye are friends and neighbors who have been there for each other through the good and bad. Forest nor Skye has had a serious relationship in a long time due to their past one and I felt because of their boarder-lining feelings for each other. When Skye has to attend her cousin's wedding she feels she needs to take a date and asked Forest to be her pretend boyfriend. But, he doesn't want to cross the friendship line and possible ruin what they have. But he also doesn't want her going with anyone else so he gives in. Skye has always had a crush on him but when they are put in this position of boyfriend/girlfriend her feelings just grow. This was a great friends to lover story! Loved it and hope to read more from this author soon.
