UNHOLY UNION by Natasha Knight is the First book in the Duet called Unholy Union.  This starts the story of Damian Di Santo and Cristina Valentina.  Damian has been waiting for Christina to become of age because she is to finish paying for her fathers debts.  Damian is having mixed feelings for Christina while she was set to pay in blood he just seems to want to protect her.  Christina had lost her mother, brother and shortly there after her father when she was young.  This had her landing at another family member's door.  Christina though just turning 18 years of age she still stand strong and isn't a pushover when she starts to learn the truth.  Damian doesn't have it easy with our strong heroine.  This does end with a cliffhanger setting us up for the next installment...which I can't wait for!
