The problem with Mikka and me, I wasn’t just her friend. I was her actor, I was her sounding board, I was her go to.

Thrive by Shain Rose is book Three in the Stonewood Brothers Series.  This is the story of Jay and Mikka.  I have read the previous books which did add to my enjoyment of this book, but I did feel this can be a standalone book if you wish to do so.  Mikka and Jay share a friendship along with a working relationship.  They both did have some heavy topics that they were going through but this author handled them nicely.  I do recommend this book along with this author's writing.
