Sweet Mercy by Amelia Wilde is the second book in Daphne Morelli and Emerson LeBlanc story.  Their story started in 'Dark Reign' and this book will end with another cliffhanger setting us up for more in their story. Which for me I am happy with that as their story is so good I am glad to get more of it.  In addition, this is a part of the  Midnight Dynasty series but you don't have to had read that series but it did add to my enjoyment of this book.   This book does pick up where we left off with Emerson finally taking Daphne and adding her to his most valuable things. Daphne who has been sheltered most of her life and the one time she jumps into something it is with Emerson.  Now she is learning about his obsession with her and how far he is taking it.
For me this is a page turning read that just keeps me wanting more.  I really need that next book ASAP though.  I highly recommend Ms. Wilde's writing.
