A reader first and foremost, Jagger Cole cut his romance writing teeth penning various fan-fiction stories years ago. Deviant Hearts by Jagger Cole is the First book in the Dark Hearts Series. This is the story of Neve Kildare and Ares Drakos. Ares is the head of the Greek Mafia. Ares has worked hard to have this be successful. So, when the war brews hard between the Greek and the Irish mafia grows more, an option of marriage is offered. Neve is a Irish Mafia Princess who doesn't want that life and has started attending collage in New York University. Unknown until later she learns her fate that she has been promised to Ares. This is a dark romance but I loved it. I love how possessive Ares was.
