This is the story of Liz Chapman and Parker Wellington. This is a interconnecting series. Liz is James's sister and Jessica is Parker's friend which their story was in the first book 'The Sweetest Agony'. So it does add to your enjoyment if you have read that book but this can be a standalone book if you wish. Parker and Liz have had a spark since their first meeting but Parker has fault it and it has added to his distant attitude towards Liz. Parker's wife has past which was something that had impacted his life of course which has added to his distance. Liz is a young school teacher who is off from teaching. Parker's nanny has up an left him which he now needs a new nanny to help with him with his daughter Lucy. When it is suggested to him to hire Liz as the live in nanny who had already been a school teacher to Lucy...he tries to turn down the ideal. But that changes when his need to have Liz as a nanny becomes more important than his feeling towards her. This starts their story.
