Octavius's Oath by VF Mason is book three in the Four Dark Horsemen Series.  This is the story of Octavius Reed and Isla Evans.  Octavius friends Santiago, Remi and Florian feel more like family which is do to the bond they share over their past.  But Octavius has a mind set to never love or marry due to his scars both physically and mentally.  But then Isla enter his world.  Isla too had a bad childhood where is left her mentally scared and took her family.  Isla had went into law enforcement but has been struggling due to her past and wanting answers to her questions. This has lead her to Octavius.  I cannot stress how much I love Ms. Mason books.  There are my go too books.  Love them and this series especially!
