'Lord of the Sea' by Danelle Harmon is book 6 in the " Heroes of the Sea" series. This is the story of Captain Connor Merrick and Rhiannon Evans. I have not read the other book in this series so for me it was a standalone book...but I do wish that I had read the books in order though.
This book hooked you in pretty quick with the daring rescue and overall characters. It was a emotional read that took you through this whole book.
Rhiannon was young, looking for adventure and someone to sweep her off her feet. Which she definitely got it in this book. Connor had some issue of his own that he was not wanting to face...but you can never not avoid something for long.
