'Tempting the Earl' by Rachael Miles is book three in the "The Muses' Salon" series. This is the story of Olivia Walgrave and Harrison Walgrave, the Earl of Levesford. I have read the other books but feel this can easily be a standalone book. Olivia and Harrison married about 6 years ago. After the marriage and the consummation of the marriage, Harrison up and left. Harrison was made at his father for forcing the marriage to a girl he did not know or want at the time. Now six years later without seeing his wife in that amount of time he gets a letter from a lawyer stating that Olivia has ask that their marriage be marked as never happening. This get Harrison thinking if he wants to be free or married. Harrison thinks that Olivia is just a mild manor lady that loves the country. But we find that Olivia is not that person and is so much more. What will Harrison do when he too learns there is more to Olivia then he knew!
