Review: The Reluctant Cowboy

The Reluctant Cowboy The Reluctant Cowboy by Kate Pearce
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

'The Reluctant Cowboy' by Kate Pearce is book one in the "Morgan Ranch" series. This is the story of Chase Morgan and January Mitchell. Chase has been fighting his past childhood that left him without a mother and really a father. Something happened to his mother then after the lost of her...his father started drinking. Chase hasn't been back 'home' in a long time and hasn't seen his brothers in years. But a letter from his Grandmother asking him to return to help her with a issue has him back where he started. Chase plans only to be there for two short weeks but once he starts helping out again around the farm time starts to slow down. Then their is the mystery of this letter talking about his Grandmother owning money on the ranch. Not to mention a Ms. January Mitchell who has been living there for six months doing historical research. But what Chase is having the hardest time is fighting his attraction to January.
This book hooked you in pretty fast, I must say. I like the way January and Chase were around each other. This is a great start to a new series of Morgans!
"My honest review is for a special copy I voluntarily read."
