'When a Rogue Loves a Woman' by Samantha Holt is book Two in the "Rogues of Redmere" series. This is the story of Patience Grey and Lord Nathaniel Kingsley. I have read the previous book "You're the Rogue That I Want" but feel this can easily be a standalone book. We met Red and Hannah in that book and see a little of Red in this book because he is Nat's brother.
Patience has been raised with brothers and her father always wished she had been a boy so she wears pants and tries to do the things that her brothers do. Now is her chance to go onto a mission for them to catch a French Spy, but they are not letting her go alone. They have asked Nat to go with her so they can go undercover as a married couple. But Nat and Patience don't really get along when they have been in each other's company. But it doesn't take long for the sparks to start to ignite.
Ms. Holts books are some of my favorite reads! They are always entertaining and giving me that break from life that you sometimes need. I have loved this series too...such great secondary characters that you truly hope become a next book of hers!
