'The Captain's Rebel' by C. B Halverson is the story of Captain Richard Grant and Mary O’Malley.
Mary thought she was in love with Johnny who she was great friends with. Johnny had promised to marry her but he ended up going off to war. Then her father tried to marry her off to someone that she didn't want to marry...not to mention that he was a mean. When she told the story of her and Johnny were to marry the next set of events has her on the run. That running took her to pretend to be a Cabin Boy on Captain Grants ship. Once they were at see and Captain Grant saw her he knew right away that she was a women and took her to be his 'Cabin Boy'. Mary gave him a false name of Margaret. Captain Grant tried to keep a close eye on Mary and he did have to 'discipline' her a few times. Each time it seem to make them want each other more.
This was a very hot exciting read! Can't wait to read more from this author!
