'Savage' by S.L. Scott is the First book in "The Kingwood Duet" series. This is the story of Alexander and Sara Jane. This book does end with a cliffhanger, that sets you up for the next installment in this series....the book is called "Savior" and should be out around Aug 2017.
Sara Jane and Alexander have been in a relationship for three years. Both are the complete opposite of the other. Sara Jane was a young innocent young lady when Alexander first set eyes on her and he knew that he must have her. Alexander first saw Sara Jane after the death of his mother so Sara Jane became the light in his dark life. Alexander even calls her his "Firefly". But there is more darkness in Alexander than just his mother's death....more than even Sara Jane is aware of.
Sara Jane is a strong women and grows more so each day she is with Alexander. Alexander is a little lighter than he once was in his fullest darkness because of Sara Jane.
I must say this book takes you on a roller coaster of feelings and you don't want to put this book down for nothing!
This is my first book by this author and I can tell you know that I will be looking for more of her books!
