A Scottish Lord for Christmas by Lauren Smith is book Three in the "Sins and Scandals" series. This is the story of Lady Rowena Pepperwirth and Quinn MacCauley, Lord Forres. I have read the other books (and Loved them!!) in this series but feel this can easily be a standalone series.
Quinn is looking for a wife to help take care of his child who was left motherless after his wife died in childbirth along with their second child. Quinn is a strong Scottish man who knows nothing of wooing it seems. Rowena is a beauty with a chance to marry most anyone but has never had the butterfly feeling of love...so she has chosen no one. But that all has changed once she sees Quinn!
Ms. Smith has a way of writing that takes you into the story where you feel apart of it. I so loved this book and have enjoyed the series just as much!!
