His Wicked Charm by Candace Camp is book Six in The Mad Morelands series. This is the story of Lilah Holcutt and Constantine Moreland. I have read the previous book but feel this is easily a standalone book.
Lilah does like Con but since his brother has married her good friend he now seems to be a regular part of her life. Con knows that he isn't on Lilah most liked person list but he can't fight the feelings that her beauty brings to him. When his sister ends up missing Lilah comes forward to help him find her. But can these two opposite people work together?
This does have a hint of paranormal theme.
Ms. Camp is one of my favorite authors and I truly enjoyed this book.
