Rogue be a Lady by Eva Devon is book Six in the Must Love Rogues series. This is the story of Emmaline Trent and Edward Hart. I have read the previous book in this series, but feel this is easily a standalone book if you wish to do so.
Emmaline and Edward were set to marry but Edward ended up walking away after believing an untruth about Emmaline. Instead of feeling taking the towns shunning for her reputation she thought to embrace it and became a famous actress in France. Now years later she is back in London to show everyone that she has become successful despite their actions and untruths. Edward loved Emmaline but had chosen wrong in his thoughts and lost her to a scandal he help build. Never forgiving himself he has chosen to punish himself but now Emmaline is back with fate throwing them together again.
This was such an emotional read but I so enjoyed this second chance at love story....Loved it!
