Unexpected by Kelly Rimmer is Book 1 in the Start Up in the City Series. This is the story of Abby and Marcus. Abby and Marcus have been childhood friends but they have maintained that relationship into the their present day. Although they did share a passionate kiss once they choose to ignore it the best they could. When Abby decided that she isn't getting any younger at 30 and no relationship in site she plans on having a baby on her own. This starts Marcus thinking when she is looking to finding the 'father'.
