Love is Never Lost by Katy Regnery is book 8 in A Modern Fairytale Series.  This is the story of Love is Never Lost by Katy Regnery 'Trina 'Trina' and Ripley Van Winkle 'Rip'.  I have read the previous books which did add to my enjoyment of this one but this is a standalone book I thought.
Rip was a all star high school football guy with a steady girlfriend. But then he finds that she has been cheating on him with his good friend.  Rip turns to his a friend Trina who he unloads to but she isn't a popular girl nor in his group of popular friends.  Then something worse happens to Rip when he is injured and lads in a coma.  The years go by with him in a coma with Trina staying by his hospital side before he ever wakes up to find that it is no longer a high school kid but a grown man with everything totally different.  This was a sweet enjoyable page turning read.  I would recommend this book.
