Hate You by Logan Fox is the story of Harper Sloane and Jude Dearth.
Harper's mother goes from man to man along with constantly moving and is neglectful. So Harper has learned to count on herself and doesn't make friends since she never in one place long enough. This makes people think she is a 'Ice Queen' because of her lack of contact. One thing that sadly she learned was to drink to deal with her problems. Jude too hasn't had it easy after his mother has died which has left him with an abusive father and him taking care of his mentally challenged sister. On the outside he is a popular quarterback but he has anger issues. Harper and Jude are forced together when their parents marry and the become Step-siblings. Both make it their mission to try to one up the other in the hurting department. This was a great bully / step-brother romance.
