WICKED PRINCESS by Tracy Lorraine is book Two in the Knight's Ridge Empire Series.  This continues the story of Stella and Sebastian 'Seb', so you really should read the previous book 'Wicked Knight'.  There is also a prequel called 'Wicked Summer Knight' that lays the groundwork of this series.  Stella learned some shocking and upsetting news in the last book.  In addition to that pain she had been taken and hurt physically.  Stella woke up in the hospital not trusting anyone specially Sebastian.  So she took off to get peace but Sebastian is starting to realize what Stella is to him.  This book does end with a cliffhanger setting us up for the next installment into their story.  Loving this Trilogy.
