POWER by Cassandra Robbins is the story of Jett Powers and Raven. This is a forbidden romance where Jett is engaged to Raven's mother Rachel.  Also if you read the book Force in the The Disciples series then you have met Jett.  But you don't have to have read that book to fully enjoy this one.  Jett is about 4o years old and is a high profile attorney who focus is getting more powerful.  Thinking it was time to get married he picked Rachel who is about 9 years older than him but has the same power driven need as him along with the desire for an open relationship.  So, he is set with his life plan but not ever meeting Rachel's college age daughter Raven starts to put a whole in his life plan.  Raven has not really had any relationship with her mother especially with them having nothing in common and her mother attitude toward her.  But she does come to stay with her mom for the summer where he mom is staying with Jett.  Sparks fly between her and Jett.  Jett is used to getting what he wants and nothing stopping him so when he sees Raven he wants her.  Enjoyed this book and can't wait to read more books from this author.
