Review: For His Pleasure

For His Pleasure For His Pleasure by Shelly Bell
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

For His Pleasure by Shelly Bell is book Three in the Forbidden Lovers Series. This is the story of Dreama Agosto and Cash Turner. I do feel you could make this a standalone book if you wish to do so. Cash was sent to jail for manslaughter for 8 years for something he didn't do. Now he is out on parole and his new parole officer is Dreama. Dreama has returned to work after being brutally attacked which still causes issues in her life whenever a man tries to touch her. But with Cash something is different about him. Cash knows that he needs to keep his nose clean while on parole but there is something more that draws Dreama to him. Besides there attraction that draws them together they start to look into the past to solve the mystery.
Loved their story! Can wait to read more from this author!

Review: Taming Her Mate

Taming Her Mate Taming Her Mate by Kathy Lyons
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Taming Her Mate by Kathy Lyons is book 6 in the Grizzlies Gone Wild Series. This is the story of Francesca 'Frankie' Wolf and Ryan Kennedy. I have read the previous book, there is a underlining story going on about the virus but overall this can be a standalone book.
Ryan is a bear shiftier and a detective on the local force, in addition he is the only shiftier on the force.
Frankie is the daughter of the rival shiftier clan, who has come forward asking for his assistance on the mysterious flu like illness that is making the citizens of Detroit sick. Frankie has admired Detective Ryan's work but she needs him to listen to her and follow commands. Sparks of course fly between the two and Ryan tries to take charge of their mission. But they slowly learn to trust and work together but can these different shiftier have something more after this?

Review: Day of the Dragon: Two full books for the price of one

Day of the Dragon: Two full books for the price of one Day of the Dragon: Two full books for the price of one by Katie MacAlister
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Day of the Dragon by Katie MacAlister is book Two in the Dragon Hunter Series. This is the story of Archer and Thaisa. I have read the previous book (and Loved it!) but feel you wish to make this a standalone you can. Thaisa doesn't have self confidence in her looks due to her unique look which has lead to looks and comments. But what she does strive in and have confidence in is studying ancient artifacts, becoming a scholar. Archer is a dragon shifter who has been at war with his twin bother for several years, each killing or harming the other members of their tribe. Now, he thinks he has found a way to end the war which leads him to Thaisa. Archer never really planned or thought of finding his mate during this time but that is what Thaisa is turning out to be. Thaisa with her low confidence didn't think someone like Archer would be attracted to her but he is making her see that she is more than she thought. I liked their banter, which kept things somewhat light.
In addition to the great book, there is a 2nd book added called WOLF'S MATE by Celia Kyle, which I also very much enjoyed.
