Meet Melanie Moreland

Second-in-Command by Melanie Moreland is book Two in the Men of Hidden Justice Series.  This is the story of Marcus Gallo and Melissa Evans 'Missy'.  I have read the previous book which did add to my enjoyment of this one but I did feel you can make it a standalone book if you wish to do so.  Marcus has taken over for Matteo something he didn't really think he would be doing but has been busy trying to track down a vile man who needs to be put down. While on the hunt for this man he has been saving women who he has taken. When he gets ready to take down a building something stops him and he goes through looking around it again when he finds Missy.  Missy is in bad shape and Marcus works to bring her back to health while his feeling for her start to take over.  This was a assume read. I can't wait for more from this author and series.
